How will you know what size pattern to buy? If you know "your numbers" then you can look on the back of your pattern envelope and determine which one is best for you. If you don't know your current numbers, measure yourself. Measure the fullest part of your bust, waist, and hips.
When choosing your fabric, check the back of your pattern envelope and make sure that the width of the fabric requirement that you have chosen is the same as the width of the fabric requirement listed. If not, use a conversion chart to make sure you have the correct fabric amount for your project.
After choosing your project and finding your fabric and notions, cut "all" your patter pieces apart. They will be ready for layout.
